Who Are We

Granite Golf Club is unlike any other in Southern Ontario. Nestled between the untouched beauty of the ancient Oak Ridges Moraine and the gently rolling countryside, it combines the best features of Scotland's oldest links with all the advances of a truly modern golf course.

Granite Golf Club is proud to have been designated as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary in 2004. The boundaries of our Golf Course are buffered by protected wildlife habitat, which renowned Canadian golf architect Thomas McBroom’s designed to remain faithful to the natural contours of the land. No office towers or residential developments block your view of the magnificent countryside. The impeccable playing conditions are the result of responsible, environmental grounds maintenance, allowing the course to thrive in harmony with the timeless beauty of the region.

Granite Golf Club is more than a world-class course, from the very beginning, the vision was to be the most family-friendly private club. The course has five sets of adult tees and two sets of family tees to accommodate all players, regardless of ability.

Core Values

The seven Core Values of Granite Golf Club are part of the “fabric” of the Club, and management and staff are expected to perform their duties and behave consistent with them.

Focus on Golf We keep our focus on our Mission... a focus on golf. We will continue to invest in our golf course and property to ensure that we remain a premier and challenging 18-hole championship course for the top-level golfers, while also ensuring the course is very playable and enjoyable for all members, regardless of gender, age or skill level.

Service Excellence We strive to maintain a strong and intimate connection with our members – we aim to understand and respond to their wants and needs in a way that is respectful, attentive and friendly. In so doing, we are able to provide the highest levels of service excellence to our members.

Family First We are all family, and we will work tirelessly to protect what has become our strong, unified community. We invest in our people by fostering an environment that encourages learning, growth, and making a difference. We remain absolute in our commitment to the privacy, safety and well-being of our family – members and staff alike.

Open Governance We are inclusive and encourage members to come forward and participate in the governance of our Club. We value the efforts of volunteers and their contributions to programs and activities that are used by many of our members. Diversity of skill sets, ages, interests and experience are sought when establishing committees and sub-committees, and calling for nominations to the Board of Directors.

Respect for the Environment We respect the environment in which our Club is situated, and work to preserve it, and the creatures that live within it, as we continue to improve our golf course and surrounding property.

Community Involvement
We recognize the importance of involvement in our local community, and our civic responsibility to contribute positively to its growth and prosperity.

Planning for the Future While we will forever cherish our roots and nurture our unique relationship with the Granite Club, we recognize the importance, and our responsibility to plan for the future facing the realities of the day, but also embracing new, innovative ideas for sustainable change.
